Snapshots from the Camino Mozárabe

Almería - Granada - Córdoba - Merída - Salamanca - Zamora - Ourense - Santiago - Fisterra

It began at the Cathedral in Almería, on the Mediterranean coast in Andalusia. This southernmost region of Spain, still bears many marks of Moorish culture.

It began at Easter, amidst Santa Semana celebrations.

It began with a step, followed by many, many more...

Much of the country in the south was arid.

The Sierra Nevada mountains in the background.
