Snow, snow, glorious snow!

Hey there folks, I had a couple of days in Thredbo earlier this week visiting some of the family who were holidaying there. The skiing this season in Australia has been limited but on Monday afternoon it started snowing and by Tuesday morning the village was transformed.


Needless to say, my two grandsons, Mikah and James, set to work on a snowman (well actually, Jess, my daughter-in-law, did most of the work).

    How lovely! I wouldn't have thought about snow in Australia, but then I forgot about the mountains. It'll be snowing here soon enough--by the end of the month, perhaps. Then we'll be socked in until April. Sigh.
