Today we walked along our favourite track by the Murrumbidgee River, starting at Pine Island and heading towards Kambah Pool. A lovely early spring day with the scent of wattle in the air, the vivid yellow blossom, and the unusually loud sound of rushing water from the winter thaw and spring rain.
And here's a close up.
and some slightly less furry ones!!
Even the flowers are furry!
A good place for reflection...
Very nice. There certainly is a tremendous amount of water in the river! And very nice to see that some of the furry creatures are still around. We have such wonderful memories from there. I still have to go through all my photos when we arrive home from this journey. A nice winter project with a cup of tea or hot chocolate! Thinking of you two.

What a lovely walk! And now I know what a wattle is. Thanks!
